Abu Dhabi’s Etihad working towards safe delivery of fish delicacy

The Air Cargo company in Abu Dhabi has airlifted in twenty-two live sturgeon for encouraging its efforts for developing the world's largest caviar factory. The company in question, Etihad Crystal Cargo, made a delivery of a shipment of Siberian sturgeon, whose arrival took place safely on the 21st of last month at the fish farm situated in Musaffah. The plant is a joint venture made by Bin Salem Holding, a local company; with the German conglomerate United Food Technologies.

Income Tax Department raids on Koda’s property

The Income Tax Department raided at 70 places in eight Indian states for investigation against the charges that were made on former Jharkhand CM and MP for having disproportionate assets, on Saturday.

IT Department Director Ujjal Kumar Chaudhary said that his team is currently probing Madhu Koda and his liaisons Vinod Kumar Sinha and Sanjay Chaudhary for havind disproportionate properties at 70 places of eight cities of the country.

He further added that the search operation is based on the intelligence reports received recently.

Qatari shares in high demand

Rising expectations from the first quarter results pushed Qatari shares to their highest point in more than a month. Qatar National Bank, the country's biggest lender by market value, has shown robust performance by rising 0.9 per cent to hit 139.2 rials.

Masraf Al Rayan, the state's second-largest Islamic bank was also on rise with its stocks hitting to 24.2 rials reporting an increase of 6.4 per cent. Similarly, stocks of Qatar Islamic Bank ended at 83 rials.

This rise in shares of all banking stocks proved well for the Qatari index making it to register an increase of 1.1 per cent to close at the highest level since February 20. The index also took a positive note of central bank’s decision to slash interest rates by half percentage points.

Death Star Hotel Being Built, World Is Doomed

This structure is being built in Baku, Azerbaijan (an ex-Soviet country between Russian and Iran). Now I'm a firm believer in honesty being the best policy, so why they're trying to construct this under the guise that it's to be the "Full Moon" Hotel is a mystery to me. Just come out and say it already, Azerbaijan. This is not a 521-foot-tall hotel with 382 rooms on over 35 floors. This is the end of life on earth as we know it. That thing is going to blow up the damn planet. I, for one, am scared.
UPDATE: False alarm -- just saw the rest of the pictures. Nothing to worry about. Turns out the damn thing is flat. No way is it large enough to house a superlaser that could destroy the planet. However it is large enough to expect a reasonably sized mini-bar in each room.
